PRE-LAUNCH · FIRST PLANNED FOCUS: US COMPANIES HIRING TECHNICAL TALENT IN INDIA

The first focus: US companies hiring technical talent in India.

Sekai’s long-term direction is global, but the first step is deliberately narrow. A credible cross-border experience requires local understanding of employment requirements, payroll, benefits, documents, currencies, time zones, worker expectations, and support practices.

This country path is planned and being validated. No live employment service, partner, launch date, price, or guaranteed hiring capacity is represented.

What the first focus means

Start with one country pair. Learn it deeply.

  1. 01

    Employer side

    United States

  2. 02

    Talent and worker side

    India

  3. 03

    Initial role focus

    Technical roles, especially engineering

  4. 04

    Initial customer need

    First or early India-based hires

  5. 05

    Current status

    Pre-launch and under validation

Why focus matters

Local depth cannot be replaced by a list of country flags.

Employment and worker models differ; payroll and funding timing matter; benefits and expectations differ; documents and checks differ; equipment and access require ownership; time zones affect team design; worker support needs a local path; changes and offboarding require clear responsibility.

Current status

Separate current fact, validation work, and future possibilities.

  1. 01

    Current fact

Sekai is pre-launch. US companies hiring India-based technical talent is the first planned focus. Role-mapping and research conversations are open. The employer-controlled decision model is the intended direction.

  2. 02

    Being validated

Legal-employer structure; direct versus partner-delivered responsibility; role and location scope; candidate discovery; documents; checks; payroll funding; benefits; equipment; support; commercial model; pricing; and service levels.

  3. 03

    Not available yet

Live recruiting, live employment, live payroll, candidate applications, guaranteed timelines, published pricing, self-service software, and additional country paths.

  4. 04

    Future possibilities

More country paths, broader role families, customer-owned entity transition, increasing self-service, and product-connected status and support. No dates are represented.

Future entity transition

A successful managed start may eventually lead to a customer-owned operation.

For some customers, a later India entity or operating center may become the right long-term model. Sekai’s future direction should preserve role, candidate, worker, equipment, support, and operational history through that transition.

    Status

Future option—not a current service promise
